to the hollows and back

today was a day of survival...my stomach cramps which have been regular since i have returned home to india from england,were the highlight of the day.I ate papaya afer the Ayurvedic doctor's sagely advice and 1 chappati (wheat bread) this morning.
The pain started around 1 hour after and lasted 7 hours.A lot of trips to the loo followed.Puking and loose motions full on...
i cautioned food poisoning...weak intestine was the prognosis..felt akin to an abortion as my body was trying to remove the debris of the poisoned/undigested food by any means air or water,above or below,possible. The saviour of the day was grandma's
recipe,cumin seeds,mint leaves, ajwain (Ajowan caraway, carom seeds) fennel seeds,all boiled together till a reduction is obtained.
Then add fresh ground black pepper before drinking.Humbled by mother nature and natural.
